My Story

My journey into makeup artistry began in Montreal, where I studied at LaSalle College. In 2018, I returned to further my education and refine my craft, deepening not only my technical skills but also my understanding of beauty as an art form rooted in individuality and intention.

In 2019, I opened Urban Daisy — a space dedicated to natural cosmetics and skincare. Through this chapter, I had the opportunity to educate and inspire clients across the East Coast, sharing the importance of clean, sustainable beauty and a more conscious approach to the products we use every day.

As my path evolved, I felt called to return to the heart of my work — connection, artistry, and education. I closed Urban Daisy to focus more deeply on my services and the experience I offer each client. Today, I’ve come full circle, rebranding under my own name, Jacqueline Denise — where it all began over 16 years ago.

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of working with so many incredible clients, each with their own story, style, and vision. What I love most about my work is creating a calm, welcoming space — one where you feel seen, relaxed, and confident. Whether it’s for a wedding day, a meaningful moment, or simply a day you want to feel your best, my approach is always personal and thoughtful.

Inspired by natural textures, earthy tones, and that quiet, effortless kind of beauty, my style leans boho, romantic, and refined. Every look is carefully crafted to enhance your natural features while still feeling like you — never overdone, always intentional.

At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: to create beauty that feels authentic, effortless, and deeply personal.

  • Jacqueline is the best! My wedding day would not have been the same without her expertise and thoughtfulness. I rarely wear any make up and I was initially apprehensive about having my make up professionally done for my wedding. However, after meeting with Jacq and doing a trial back in the fall, my worries were completely gone. She listened carefully to what i wanted and quickly put me at ease. She is also incredibly knowledgeable. When she came to do the make up for my wedding party and my mom, she asked each of them what they wanted and everyone loved the end result. It also was long lasting! All of our makeup looked amazing for the entire day despite temperatures in the 30s. I am so thankful that I found Jacqueline and that she was able to be a part of my special day!
